I love my Fitbit versa but it stopped giving me message and WhatsApp notifications from my iPhone from about November 22. I decided to upgrade to versa 3 thinking it was the device age which caused the issue. I love my new versa 3 and features but it constantly drops Bluetooth connectivity and I have to keep going through setup process again and again. It works for couple of hours then stops again. It’s really frustrating!! I didn’t want an Apple Watch as I prefer the Fitbit features.
I have done factory reset several times too but same problem occurs. It now looks like my old versa was fine it just appears to be a Apple and Fitbit issue.
Anyone got any suggestions before I take it back to the shop!

Hi @Paulzer72 - as your diagnostics suggest it is merely a phone issue. Have you restarted the phone? Also have you check your battery savings settings on the phone, in case the OS is shutting down Bluetooth, Location or the Fitbit App?
What might help is to use the SimpleCheckUp app on the watch and see what the connection test says when you aren't getting notifications.
Also swipe the watch face to the right to get to Quick Settings and make sure that neither DND or Sleep has been turned on.

Hi Guy
thank you for your reply. Unfortunately I’m continuing to loose the Bluetooth connection to my versa and have to pair the watch and phone again and again.
I don’t have battery saver mode on and have restarted my phone.
i Dont loose Bluetooth connectivity to any of my other devices.
Surely this is a bug which could be fixed with an update to the app. Does anyone know if there is any plan to update the Fitbit app to correct the issue? It also happens with my husbands older iPhone and his versa 1.
should I perhaps contact Apple directly?
