Vibration alert on sense is far too short and weak

I can’t believe how puny the vibration on the Sense is. Even on the strong mode I do not feel it and miss countless notifications. Why is it only 1 motion ? Why is there not a succession of vibrations to have half a chance of feeling it ? Any tips greatly received to rectify this or do I need to bombard Fitbit to roll out a software update as I can’t believe it’s only me that finds this feature totally useless how it is.

Welcome to the Fitbit community.

I thought the same thing but for me, it ended up being that when my phone was on mute, the watch wasn't getting notifications. I turned on the "Always vibrate" option and I feel like I don't miss them anymore.

I found the same thing, @eezeepee.  I was helping my Mom test the calling feature on her new Sense I gave her for Christmas, completely forgetting that my phone was on DND when she tried to call me and then wondered why I never got the call.  As it turns out, I never got the call because it was on DND and I never felt the vibration.

Hi @JulieJu  - you are right the vibration is very poor, even on strong it is weaker than a Versa on normal and almost undetectable.

If you are interested try the SimpleVibrate app. There are 8 vibration types, ring and alert have a chance of detection because they are continuous, but are not used for notifications which only fire once, which you can simulate in the app.
