WPA2 WiFi not working

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Mine and the wife fitbit sense will not connect to wireless unless there is no password. I tested and confirmed this, if WPA2 encryption is active it simply will not connect. Turn off authentication and it magically connects.

- I know the wifi password is correct

- I have turned off bonded networks 2.4GGHz/5GHz

- I have made sure mac filtering is off

- I have made sure I my device is on the same 2.4GHz network

- I manually created the network with WPA2 auth and it fails to connect

There must be a bug in the software when it's trying to make the connection, it's passing the wrong password, please fix this. You can't expect people to use guest networks with no authentication.

As long as the password doesn't have special characters it should be fine.

There are multiple wpa2 types. I wad not able to connect to my home wifi. I was able to connect to my phone's hotspot. I then updated my fitbit. I can now connect to both wifi networks
