Waking up with steps!

I'm occasionally waking up with crazy step counts.  This morning 6300, other days 12,000.  This is NOT a timezone or midnight reset issue.  Nor am I sleepwalking 5 miles.

Is there a way to resolve?  Or a way I can reset my step count in the morning to zero?

Hi, @SanDiegoMike, welcome to the community, you will see this issue is occasionally reported. You may find this article useful How do I add, edit, or delete Fitbit data and activities?

I hope this helps.

They say wind vibration from a fan can trigger the step counter? Also there is a sleep sensitivity, section under app settings in app, if not set to normal, not sure how that plays, with the step counter though

Fitbit Ionic 72.1.15 (recalled), Fitbit Sense 128.6.17 and Pixel Watch 2 BP1A.250305.019.W3, March 2025.

Hi, @SanDiegoMike, a question, are you using "MobileTrack" Can I use more than one Fitbit device with the same account? see the section concerned.
