I took my watch in the pool to track a swim and it is hard dead ever since then. I was guessing maybe some water got in there? (The watch is only a year and half old). I just let it dry out for about a week then i tried plugging it in for a charge but its totally nonresponsive... is there anything I can do? I know that the warranty is only a year, which is quite dissapointing that it would die while doing an approved activity?
This is my second fitbit sense that lasted about a year and half and I am a premium member, is there any recourse I have to get it replaced/fixed?

I plan on swimming next week. I guess I will leave the watch off.

Hi @HowardnMD - the Sense 2 is under warranty for a year and can be replaced if it fails during that time. As it may take a while for water damage to appear avoid getting it wet a few months before the end of the warranty to be on the safe side.

I took my Fitbit sens swimming and it’s been dead since.
What is this? It’s supposed to be water resistant!
i too have paid an annual Premium subscription .
Can Fitbit at least suspend my membership? Otherwise the money is just wasted!

This happened to me. Fitbit died after swimming. I contacted customer service , but the warranty had expired, so all I get is a discount on a new one. My premium membership will be wasted.
so be warned, FITBIT IS NOT WATERPROOF

I was wearing my Sense in a 4 foot pool with my 6 year old granddaughter and the face went blank. I tried to reset it and the Fitbit diamond appeared and it seemed to be trying to reset. I read to reset the clock which I did but my Fitbit is completely dead. My Fitbit is 18 months old out of warranty. I paid by credit card so I’m going to submit a claim.
