Hi all,
So the new Sense device looks to be very exciting I have owned many Fitbit devices and will no doubt own this one too. I am concerned that a lot of the new sensors will show data without premium and some data only with a Premium subscription. I'd like to know exactly for the new features, which data will be accessible to those without a premium subscription. Does anyone know?
Thanks!

Ahh, great thanks for the pictures. I understand that the premium Graphs are easier to read. I thought "more detailed in premium" mean that they are tracking the heart rate more often but thats not the case.
In the end i am more interested in sleep heart rate than in sports but i wonder that those detailed view is only aviable for sleep and not for sports. Because i think the most people want to know their heartrate good readable for sports xD
And the that the temperature sensor isnt useable in free mode is very sad because i think it could deliver interesting data to detect corona infection or general immuneactivity if a illness happens.

@Honepeople I'm glad the pictures helped. It's quite difficult to to try and explain some of these things with words, so I was hopeful some pictures might shed more light.

Yes, this is why I`m buying the new Samsung Galaxy Watc 3 instead of the Fitbit Sense. I am sick of the subscription model with everything you buy these days. The greed is incredible. After charging over $300 for a watch I dont want to pay more every month just to get the stats I want and that fitbit advertises.
I started with the Charge and purchased each new model up through the Versa 2. Bye Fitbit.

I agree with you, it's not right. I expect more people will take the same approach as you. I'm just gutted because I like you have bought many Fitbit devices and I feel that's a huge investment, now I need to only to pay even more cash for these evolutionary upgrades? I spend a couple hundred each year on the new devices and now more for the Sense, is that not enough???

Apparently not enough. The thrill they experience by making a few millions more is huge. They know they can take this money from you*, so why not ? You're going to fall for it and buy it whether you want to or not.
At least they give a 6 month trial period. There you can decide if the extras worth your money.
*they study consumerism, FAQ, customer psychology, tech-dependence and most importantly they know there are millions of rich people out there with money to burn. They are the main target group, not the average Joe.

Fitbit premium and health are $55 per month!? I can't justify that if that is what it costs for one person, maybe if it was a family plan.

When my versa breaks, I'll be jumping ship as well. I have had 2 ultras, inspire, charge HR, aria scale, and 2 versas. Other than my scale, every single one of these devices either broke apart or bricked between 10 and 15 months. No way do I pay $300+ for the device plus monthly to utilize all its features only to have it die in less than a year and a half.
To be fair to Fitbit they have either replaced my broken ones at no charge and if past the warranty given me 50% off a replacement.

How they replace damaged goods or give big discounts kinda scares me.
As if they know the build quality of their product and they replace it without further disagreement/discussions.
It makes me wonder about the accuracy/dependability of their products.

I've already pre-ordered the Sense, but second guessing my choice. After talking with support though, they assured me that skin temperature variation WILL be available to basic members. I asked if he had documentation to confirm that basic members will have access to skin temperature variation and he said yes. I don't know what to believe at this point. Only a week away though, so I guess we don't have too long to wait to find out for sure.
I also asked about the ECG app and if that would be available to basic members as well. Again, another yes. That one will take longer to confirm unfortunately.

So, all and all, from what I understand: the skin temperature feature and stress alert is only available through Premium, right?
