People post reason and important concerns but how does it help other than venting. Fitbit pays no attention other than removing negative comments. I see no instnce where fitbit addresses concerns from the forum or customers in general. They do what they do regardless of forum concerns or comments. The app has always had issues and always will.

The forums are to ask other users for help, to get advice and possible solutions, a company can't know every configuration, as each device is different, each user is different, there are so many different topics that are discussed. Mostly people complain about something only when it doesn't work for them. Others try to help and give advice that maybe useful that they have experienced. Just my thoughts.

I have been a member of forums like this for 12+ years, was even a moderator of one. As stated by @Jdsenter these are user-to-user help forums. The idea is that fellow users try to help each other, share information and discuss things. Most forums like this have a few moderators which are sometimes volunteers or sometimes employed by the applicable forum sponsor. Does the FitBit development team or management team read through the forums? We don't know, probably never will. The Google support forum and Motorola support forums function just like this one, users helping users with a few moderators to enforce forum rules.

i agree. today i both chatted and spoke with Fitbit support
they did not solve any problem i had.
over 45 minutes wasted time. chat was incoherent, phone call was only slightly easier to understand.
