Can anyone help me with the back of the sense is made from material wise? I've had fitbits for years and have also had random skin flare ups time to time which at minimum has at the most been linked to eczema. I've had a sense since October and had a few flare ups again over a few months. In March I also picked up a Garmin vivosmart 4. I have not recently had any flare ups, so I'm trying to determine what material the fitbit has compared to the garmin for what touches your wrist. If anyone has any clue what materials these two devices have I would really appreciate it. I bought more of a material band for the sense thinking maybe it was the band, but the band on the garmin is similar to the material that comes stock on most fitbits.(so it seems anyway) I wouldn't mind still using my fitbit from time to time but curious if the sense has a different material that may be contributing to a skin flare up. Thanks!

As this is a health issue you should raise it with Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you or refund you.

@eeyore6802 According to the Sense User Manual, the case is anodized aluminum. Anodized aluminum can contain trace amounts of nickel. Fitbit uses the EU standard, which is apparently more stringent than the US standard. Some nickel allergy users says they react Fitbit metal buckles which are also anodized aluminum.
I don't have any Garmin experience.

I just called Fitbit to find the answer to this. I've had the Versa 2 for 2.5 years and wear it NONSTOP and haven't gotten a rash. The back is different than the sense - it's either a black plastic or glass. I just bought the sense and after I opened it, I saw that it said, "contains nickel" on the box and then saw the back and was like, "NOOOOOOOOOOoooooooo..." My versa broke, but also I just really want the sense. Support didn't have the answer, but they are going to find out and let me know.
Not sure if this helps... but I'm SUPER sensitive to nickel - like if I touch my keys, I will prob have a rash on my face 2 days later just from touching nickel and then touching my face. Prob with contact dermatitis is that it's the same as poison ivy (literally the same kind of allergy) and if you encounter the allergen and touch other parts of your body, you move it around. So it's hard to pinpoint at times. If you have a nickel allergy, I HIGHLY recommend checking out Skintifique - makes things far more tolerable.
Also, the bands never bother me unless they get really dirty and I haven't rinsed with water/wiped off lately hehe.
I digress, I shall report back what I find out!!
