I read that I can Sync the Fitbit Sense with a LifeFitness Treadmill at the gym.
What is the benefit in doing so ? Why is the treadmill more accurate than my fitbit ? Why should the treadmill transmit its data to the fitbit ?

Hello @SunsetRunner ,
Can you please link where you read about this integration? Thanks

I searched for it in Google. There are several posts about it. You need to download the LF app and through bluetooth it will connect to the treadmill. Now I don't have any fitbit to test it. Google it. Like I said it works just with life fitness equipment.

Hello @SunsetRunner
Basically the app syncs your LF workouts to your Fitbit account.
It's not an integration with Sense or any other fitbit device, you can actually even avoid to wear your Fitbit.
I was asking because fitbit doesn't support any external connection and I was surprised.

Ok then I misunderstood. It would be cool though. If you increased the treadmill's inclination, this could register on your fitbit.
Fitbit alone cannot register elevation and speed on the treadmill. Just the pulse. Imagine if it had this data taken from stationary machines plus the pulse sensor from fitbit. It would be magic. Maybe in 5 years from now.
