I walked a distance outside the street for one hour. The time has been recorded but I can't find info about the speed and the distance. It automatically recorded the activity.
I even burned 432 calories which I don't really believe such an over-estimation.

Hi, @SunsetRunner , if your exercise recorded automatically, it sounds like it used Fitbit SmartTrack . It can keep good track of your day to day activities, but among the things it won’t do is record your distance or pace.
If you would like to have a record of those metrics, you will need to start your exercise session using Fitbit’s exercise app. More information here
As for calories, it is important to remember that whenever Fitbit reports calories burned, it always is a combination of of your BMR calories added to the calories from any activity detected. BMR calories are calories burned keeping all the bodily systems that keep you alive running. How many calories you burn just staying alive depends on your age, sex, height and weight as well as just individual quirks of your metabolism. For most people the BMR calories are the majority of those burned.
So if Fitbit tells you you burned 432 calories during an hour walk, a good proportion of those calories will be the same as you would have burned keeping your body functioning, and the day r3st is the extra effort walking.
