Why I returned my new Sense

Hello community

I am a Fitbit user since 2013 and I would like to share the reasons why I returned my new Sense watch.

1. The button. Yes I understand why the watch case without a button on the side looks better. But this button was constantly being pressed with my wrist. Even when I was sleeping. I read the instruction and tried to wear the watch higher on the wrist but the watch tends to slide down anyway.

2. The battery. Never lasted as long as it was announced. Yes, I turned off all possible heavy features like snoring and SpO2. Then the battery life was about 5 days and the Sense did not sense.

3. Notifications. I had my old Versa 2 getting all notifications, but Sense was not getting any. Probably this is the application issue.

4. Charging cable, last but not least. I am very sorry guys....but 2 feet long charging cable, seriously??? Do I have to charge my watch on the floor? For $300 watch could you add 1 feet of the cable for 10 cents extra?

I am so unhappy now and do not know what to buy instead. Probably, my loyalty to Fitbit is over.

Maybe your unit had a defective button. The button on my Sense requires quite a bit of pressure to press, and couldn't possibly be pressed inadvertently - which is good.

(I do agree with you about the length of the charging cable.)

I did the research about the button and found many people complained.

Kind of agree.. when I bend my wrist, the watch came in contact my wrist. Thankfully it wasn't something troublesome.. but could be just a bit of irritating as it isn't intended

The cable length is indeed funny, and I have other non-Fitbit devices that came with awfully short charging cables, it's probably the trend nowadays, not sure.
As far as the button, in my case it's the opposite, I actually find it hard to locate it and successfully press on it; so far it never got pressed accidentally.

Sense since Nov 29th 2021 (with IPhone 6), firmware: 44.128.6.17.

I kind of agree with you.  I am disappointed overall.  My wrist sets off the button quite a bit.  I actually forgot about that because I stopped wearing it for several months and wear the Inspire 2 instead.  I really just wanted to do the challenges with friends.  Otherwise, I prefer my Apple Watch.     The short charger isn’t a big deal for me because my bedside lamp has USB charging ports.  So the shorter cord is actually better.
