I bought my sense about a month ago and everything is fine but when I tried to set up the wallet and use Fitbit pay I realised that in the UK there are hardly any supported banks and I’ve only heard of one of them. I am with Barclays which is a very common bank and similarly to others isn’t on there. On the website it says ‘more banks coming soon’ but every time I check there still aren’t anymore.

Hi, @BethH27, as they say, "It takes two to tango" Fitbit has never been shy about putting their "wallet" forward but it's up to the banks to step up. See the US list is extensive. I resolved the problem by opening an account with Starling for my day-to-day spending, I find it very convenient and a breath of fresh air after dealing with legacy banks.
I hope this helps.
Cheers

I have Barclays but use starling bank for my Fitbit payments. Works great and I really do find starling to be a great bank. Considering changing everything over to starling as it is much simpler than Barclays and the interest is much better. I'm always getting little interest payments deposited.

Agree with @hazelwhitfield3 . Starling is a very modern approach to banking and additional benefit from using it is being able to use your card abroad without extra fees. It isn't high street bank but it isn't bad. My main account is with HSBC and I keep it there only because I have been with them nearly 20 years. I opened Starling account only to test FitbitPay. Then never used FitbitPay again but kept Starling account. It is true that Fitbit doesn't support high street banks in the UK but Starling is worth a shot.

I used to have a Visa 2 till it bricked and was a bit upset with the lack of UK banks so thought I would try Starling and wow - its very good especially if traveling as exchange rates very very good and instant notification of any spend. starling will not replace a normal bank as only offers a current account, but as a 2nd bank and used on fitbit its great.
Alas just bought a versa 4 and no option of installing Starling and only option seems to be to use Google Wallet which i would rather not. Why can we not longer install Starling?
