Why are the calories burned for an activity so different when recorded vs manually added?

I used my sense to record a walk and it said I was burning an average of 6.5 calories per minute however when I manually added a walk that started at the same time and had the same distance it says I burned an average of 2.2 calories per minute. Why is this so different? The heart rate and energy graphs look the same so shouldn't the numbers be a lot closer? When using other online calculators they're closer to the 2.2 estimate. Again, why does the recorded number from the sense deviate so much from other estimates? Has anyone else noticed something similar?

Update: I took the time, distance, and heart rate data from the sense and fed it into some other health apps and they all estimated average calories burned per minute as something closer to the 2.2 estimate of the manually added activity. This really begs the question of why recorded activities are off by nearly 300%? I get that there's going to be some amount of error but nearly 300% is crazy.
