Why can't I speak through my Sense or even hear the caller?

I can answer or reject phone calls on the Sense, but the microphone is not working, even though it is enabled. Also I can't hear the caller either.

At the moment we can answer / reject calls on the phone from our Sense. The new feature, that lets us use the Sense to talk / listen to those calls, is not yet available. The press release said it was coming "soon" but I've not seen anything more specific than that
