Why is Pandora and Deezer no longer supported?

I have read news that updates are getting pushed out to disallow Pandora and Deezer app from storing playlists on the watch. I know Sense 2 does not allow this. Sense always had this option. Why is this getting removed? Why is there an update when it is working fine so far.

Why dont we work on adding new things like google maps and google wallet support for Sense.

Fitbit will make the change by removing the Pandora and Deezer apps, not by a firmware update.  Pandora Help article

Hi @manu_82 - it is not known why Fitbit is taking away features the watch was sold to do.

If a firmware update causes this to happen don't do the update. In short if the watch is working don't make changes.

I have read the mail also.

Because of this it won't be possible anymore to listen to offline music while you are exercising after March 31.

That was the reason i did buy my Fitbit sense, so it also will be the reason i get rid of my fitbit and change to another brand sportswatch.

And i think this will be the end of Fitbit. Everyone likes to exercise with offline music, and i think a lot of people will change to another brand.

I totally agree with you - this is the reason why I bought my watch. This will also be my last Fitbit and I agree - this is the beginning of the end for them. Even if we could just keep on listening to our current playlists, that would have been ok.
