Why do I have to reconnect my WiFi almost everyday on my Sense?

@Sra411   These days, WiFi is really only used for firmware updates.  There's no need to reconnect it every day.

When it disconnects, I don’t receive notifications on my Fitbit.  That’s how I know it’s no longer connected.  I hear my phone receive a text but not a notification on my Fitbit no matter how close I am to my phone.  When I reconnect then I start getting notifications again.
