Am at a loss as to why Fitbit still hasn’t added fall detection to their premium devices. Will this be added in the future? Debating on a Garmin / Apple because of this. That and the colour choices namely rose gold!

Thank you for your sharing your interest in fall detection on the Fitbit Sense. You can share your idea in our Feature Suggestions board. Search for the idea first to see if one already exists so you can add your vote. The more votes an idea gets the more likely the developers will try to implement it.

Let me know how it goes.

Let me be crystal clear.  The only reason I will not purchase this watch, and I won't, is because it lacks fall detection and related communication through a smart device to contact 911 and or others.  Just Fitbit understands.  This is the only AND the deciding factor to not purchase this and to purchase another device.  For my 85-year old mother with scoliosis and in great health, who has numb feet from mostly in remission Multiple Sclerosis, this is necessary and lacking it makes the device no choice.  Always immediate safety before informatics.  Have I been unclear in any way?

I checked the BUDDY site.  As usual, only for Apple watches and phones.  No Android support.

I am guessing that if BUDDY is successful on Apple devices, they will transition to Androids. It seems that it would be a useful product!

I agree with this; I'm hoping to get my whole family Fitbits, but there's not much point if safety isn't prioritized.

How come apple has had it for more than a year and has many success stories where it summoned help

and fitbit can't figure it out?

Fitbit cannot even figure out how to count stairs so I would never expect them to figure this one out.

I agree 100%.  I've been using Fitbit devices since way back when they were clip on or magnetically attached.  Love my Ionic until it was recalled.  Now, I, at 60, am struggling with falling.  When I found out Fitbit didn't have this feature, I was forced to go to the Apple Watch.  I honestly hate this thing and would ditch it in a NY second if Fitbit came to the table with a Fall alert feature.
