Seriously this is a deal breaker. One of the reasons I upgraded from the Ionic was to avoid this nonsensical switching of watch faces at night, then waiting an arbitrary length of time in the morning for it to update (currently I got up 2hrs ago and it still says recording sp02) The beauty of Fitbit was always the "put it on your wrist and leave it" facility - this switching of watch faces goes totally against that. Plus, the sp02 watch face isn't pretty, so having to put up with it all night and half the morning is annoying.
Can anyone from Fitbit comment on whether at some point sp02 will be tracked in the background with ANY watch face? Otherwise it's a worthless feature to me and a huge oversight. The Ionic is 3yrs old, there's been time to fix this.

Trying to get them to change this with this feature request: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Feature-Suggestions/View-SpO2-in-app-and-don-t-require-SpO2-clock-fa.... I asked for a response from the dev team, but so far no comment from Fitbit. Definitely disappointing.
