Won't turn on after being in a pool

First time I have used my Fitbit Sense in a pool (no deep end). I was in the water a total of 20min and noticed that it stopped working. I dried it off and set it in the shade to dry for 3hrs then charged it again. Still won't turn on! Apparently they are not pool proof or waterproof to 20m as advertised.

Yes they are but you have to put the swim lock on before you take a dip in the pool.  Good luck, hope you can get it replaced.  Since it wasn’t clear on the instructions.

Thanks for the info! My Sense wasn't equipped with any swim lock. Fitbit was great though, they are sending me a replacement!

You have to go to screen, select exercise, select swim, then select the arrow and it locks in 10 seconds.

Swim lock has nothing to do with your case. The lock just blocks touch input in the water. Watch is water resistant regardless. If your Sense died in the water it's a hardware failure and only you can do is contacting customer support.
