Workout tracking without phone

Hi I am wondering if the Fitbit sense can track workouts and sync workouts to the Fitbit app without the phone connected when you do the workout. 
This is a little hard to word but, but I hope you know wheat i mean

You can track your workouts without your phone but you will need a phone later (after a workout) to sync your watch with the app.
