Ever since I had a metal plate put in for a broken wrist, my exercises show at a much lower heart rate level. I can be going all out at a pre broken wrist pace and it shows the majority of my workout at a below zone/resting heart rate. It occurred to me that maybe the plate is interfering with the reading. Anyone else notice anything similar?

Hi @Marlo15  the only thing close to your situation is those people who have dark tattoos on their wrists and it seems to prevent the heart rate from being properly recognized. Have you tried putting it on the opposite wrist?

I didn't realize that reporting it as being worn on my dominant wrist will take into account all the extra movements. I always thought it would register too many steps and give me a false sense of accomplishment. So I need to try that and I'm going to try wearing the sensors on the underside of my wrist to see if that makes a difference. Thanks.
