Did you mean:

elevation is way off

Today I climbed 1,100' in a mile and my fitbit Sense 2 said I climbed 62 floors?!?!? I did the same hike Monday and had a similar result.

Is there any way to make the data more accurate?

Hello @Shastatodd and welcome to the Community.  Fitbits count floors using a relative altimeter.  It counts a floor when it senses a continuous 10 ft rise in elevation.  But that isn’t the same as the reported elevation in a trail in a trail map.  If your path takes you up 8', then you walk level, then up 8', and keep repeating this, you will get no floors for that climb.

Fitbit's floor counting feature is for general activity and wellness.  It is your way of saying that you took the stairs instead of the elevator.
