I want to use the ECG function that comes with Sense
On Fitbit's ECG page
https://www.fitbit.com/global/us/technology/ecg
The available countries of ECG function at the bottom of this page show US*, Canada* and Hong Kong.
Next to Hong Kong, there is no asterisk about the condition, ' *FDA review of ECG app pending; only available in U.S. upon clearance. Availability outside the U.S. pending applicable regulatory clearances. Not intended for use by people under 22 years old.'.
Is this function really available when launched in Hong Kong?

In the USA the FDA has to approve this feature, it sounds like this process hasn't been completed.
Since there is no "*" by Hong Kong it probably means that Hong Kong's regulatory Agency has already completed the approval process. You may have to wait ite contact Fitbit.

My understanding is that this feature will not be available in any country at launch but that Fitbit is in the final stages of confirming approval in the countries listed (including Hong Kong) and has a reasonable expectation of this feature being able to be activated in those countries in the near future.
Fitbit has not confirmed that it has even begun the regulatory approval application process elsewhere, so my view is that I would not expect this feature in other countries any time soon.
