Ever since this last update that adds spo2 tracking every night I went from getting about 5 days per charge to less than 3 days. Are there any fixes for it?

Hi @wookietim.

Yes uninstall the spO2 app (of course if you're happy with not tracking it). With the spO2 app my battery life is around 4 days, without it 5-6 days.

I've also heard some users have had luck with turning off the permissions in the spO2 app, and only enabling the permissions when they want to track spO2 for that night. Without the permissions the app doesn't run, therefore not draining any battery. It's also easier than uninstalling and reinstalling all the time.

How do I disable spo2 permissions? I was okay with tracking it only once every few days... it rarely changes beyond 95 or 96% anyway.

Best Answer

Derp  never mind - go to the app and click on permissions.

So true...i've been monitoring SPO2 levels for about a week and a half, it does rarely change. I'll keep it on and just charge the Sense after getting an email that the device needs charging. I get about 3-4 days with SPO2 engaged.

If it helps anyone any - turning off permissions REALLY increases charge life.

I had to charge yesterday. Took it off the charger at 6pm. With it turned on by this morning it'd be down to at best 85% and more likely 80%. Instead it's at 92%.
