new Sense for Christmas- swiping doesn't close of change anything at times

Got a new Fitbit sense and the swiping doesn't work all the time. For example, If you open the weather app swiping in any direction doesn't close it.  Tapping does nothing either, I thought this would be easy as an apple watch but so far it is very frustrating. consigning taking it back. if I log water or food it seems impossible to get out of that part.

Hi @Shortpunter - Swiping up to see weather is ended by a swipe down to see clock face.

I find the swipe needs to start at the edge of the screen
