"Button" getting pressed when I bend my wrist

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hello, the side "button" on the sense appears to be incredibly sensitive and not sensitive at the same time. It often gets pressed and then locks up my screen when I bend my wrist. When I try to use it in they way it's intended to be used, it never completes the action I think it should be doing. Is anyone else having issues with this? I wear the watch on my non-dominant left wrist and it's super frustrating to look at my brand new watch and see it jammed up on the "clocks" app.

I found a possible solution to the wrist pressing the button issue   I bought screen covers from Amazon for my versus 2 that wrap around the entire watch…top and sides. They also fit the sense.  They cover the side button but still allow it to be pressed when needed.  It also desensitizes it so bending the wrist doesn’t press it.  They come in different colors too. Just a thought…

Try using SimpleClockPro-L watch face. It is in the watch face gallery.

It allows you to wear the watch on the right wrist with the button facing your forearm. The face is rotated.

Being that I am right handed I wear my fitbit on my left wrist putting the button facing my arm changing the direction of the face won't help. The cover does.

I was going to get more but they aren't available right now.  I tried a different brand that was a thinner plastic and it didn't stay on.  I gave the rest of my versa 2 accessories to my granddaughter with the versa 2.

Hi craftygater! I just foubd actually THE soluation gor the botton that is sensible when you bend your wrist.... I don't know if you still have yoi Fitbit Sense, but when you slide on the righr until you have the "Settings", click on it and slide down until you see "Shortcuts" or "Raccourcis" in french and click. The first option with the watche and the finger that presses for a long time, well you can Desactivate that option and when you going tonbend your wrist again, nothing will happen! Magical! Hope it helped!

Have a good day!

Well I am glad to hear that! Good! And also, if you slide down after that option, there will be an orher option that you can desactivate, which is, when you press 2 times on the side, 4 apps pops up but you can desactivate it!

Thank you for this.  I'm excited to give this a try.  I do a lot of Les Mills BodyPump classes with pushups and this problem is extremely annoying so I switched to my charge.  This is really going to help so I don't have to switch devices just to do a workout.

And, it failed me tonight.  Got only half the workout recorded.  I'll be switching to my band for workouts.
