spO2 continuously stops recording in metrics

Re-entering due to bad typo in previous title: Have had a problem with spO2 recording in-app for some time. Followed earlier advice on clearing cache. After restarting it did record & worked for several days, then stopped recording again. I have gone through the procedure several times to get the spO2 recorded, some days it works and then it does not. Today it did not, AGAIN. Tried not using an spO2 watch face, but the problem seems to be getting worse. I will try another spO2 watch to see if it helps, but I am getting quite annoyed that one of the two measurements that are important to me is giving me a problem. Should not be happening on a Fitbit for which paid $330.
