stress management and health metrics

Hello all,

I have owned the Sense since its release and paused several questions:

  • How do you interpret the score of stress management ? I find this indicator interesting in theory but in practice I don't quite understand what to do with it. For example, even with Premium, I find that some information is missing to understand. For example for "responsiveness", how does Fitbit rate this? Based on averages of our heart rate and variability? So where are these averages? I do not find it very clear.
    • On a related note, how does Fitbit rate “Exertion balance”? I find that apart from an additional sub score, we don't have much explanation.
  • Then for the "health Metric", are there plans to improve this information page? Here too, no average, only the last visible score and the others only available on the graph. No detail. It is really very thin. For example, if we compare with Oura rings, the finesse of the information transmitted is much higher. In addition, are there any plans to have comments? Or at least trends?
  • Cross-interpretation of the data: I understood that with premium, the app could provide us with interpretations such as: "your sleep is better when you exercise more" or "your stress decreases when you do more. exercise"; I think it's too early to see them. But does it work well?
  • Finally, question already asked but do we ever know, is an Apple Healtkit integration planned? Or do you know of a good app that does this with heart rate data?

In advance, thank you for your comments

At least you are getting a score! I have one in the sense for eight days and nights now and I still have a score of zero! I am about ready to return it, considering it may as well be my Versa... 😔

I find the "Exertion Balance" metric to be useless. I keep getting a low score in this category. Upon investigation it is because I exercise too much according to Fitbit. I have been an avid exerciser for the last six years and I find that exercise helps my stress and lowers blood pressure and cholesterol. I am probably going to take the stress management score off of my dashboard entirely.

Hi!

I'm interested in how you determined you exercise too much. My score recently plummeted and I'm confused as to why. Yes, because of the colder weather I haven't been able to walk outside as much, but I still exercise daily. My RHR is great and has gone down, my sleep score is decent, but this number has plummeted, and the app does nothing to explain if you're exercising too much or too little so I'm left to figure it out on my own, but I'm not sure how to go about it. I think you were smart to take it off your dashboard!

Thank you!
