Are you tracking sleep every night?

I'd like to hear your experience in regards to sleep tracking. I try to wear my Versa every night, following my sleep scheduleI don't use sensitive sleep settings on my watch since sometimes I move a lot at night and I don't like to see extra restless or awake time in the morning.

Some other night I remove my watch from my wrist before going to bed just to give a rest to my arms. I'd like to hear about your experience on how you're tracking your sleep. Do you track it every single night or do you prefer to track sleep on specific days of the week?

I've been improving my sleep habits since I'm aware of different things that can help me to have a better sleep score. 😊

Sleep varies between 5.5 -7.5 hrs. When sleep is less than 6.5 hrs try to take a afternoon nap usually 40 to 50 minutes long   No coffee after 12 noon - only 1-2  bourbons 5pm - Only a few Cokes a month - 60. oz water every day (kidney stones)  . 25gram protein yogurt for breakfast or One Bar (20 gram protein)  Summertime  10K steps a day 30 mls (clear)  ZZquil nightly  I thought sleep would get better after our 12 year old Carin terrier died but it has not! ( he had diabetes. and had to be let out.

It does.  I have requested the ability to enter my personal average HR to the app so it doesn't log me as sleeping but I think it's way way to hard considering sleep logging seems based purely on HR .

Mine is never correct..the most recorded here lately has been maybe 3 hours. No sleep score.. nothing.. incredibly aggravating...I don't think it's ever been correct

The app isn't perfect. When mine misses some sleep I can drop down into
sleep until I get to the graph that has an edit icon at the top. I can
modify the start and or the stop time. This lets the app reanalyze and
usually find more sleep time.
I can look at my pulse rate during the night and see my start and stop
time. Pulse may not be dropping enough at the start of sleep to meet a
threshold, but by editing the sleep time it usually finds the missing sleep.

Very fickle app . Maybe they want us to upgrade the device ( to another
brand) in hope it will actually reliably work

Why did my Versa 3 sleep app just stop working? Without that app I might as well buy a cheap step tracker. It worked fine then just quit one day, what's up with that?

Because it's a rubbish app - maybe device also . Have the very expensive
Sense 2 going on gumtree soon.
App has just been updated probably your problem.

Hi @WatsEla - did you try restarting the watch and phone with this procedure, as a first step?

Logout of the Fitbit App and swipe off the active window and in Android clear the storage cache and force stop it and then restart the phone.

Make sure there are no other devices running the Fitbit App switched on.

Restart the watch by holding the button for 10 seconds till it vibrates and the logo appears and wait for it to start.

Login and wait for any pair, link or Fixit prompts and sync.

When something happens suddenly and the above doesn't fix it for subsequent nights, it can be a sign of a watch fault, usually accompanied by other symptoms, so make sure everything else is working properly.

It can happen there is a sleep issue for a single night.

hi @YojanaFitbit

It's very simple: I try not to eat a few hours before bedtime so that I fall asleep a little hungry, drink enough water, use apps to track circadian rhythms, as well as birushi and an eye mask

I totally get how frustrating that can be! 😴 Here are a few suggestions that might help improve your sleep:

**Create a Bedtime Routine:** Establish a calming bedtime routine to signal to your body that it's time to wind down. This can include activities like reading a book, taking a warm bath, or practicing relaxation exercises.

**Limit Screen Time:** Avoid screens (phones, tablets, TVs) at least an hour before bedtime, as the blue light emitted can interfere with your sleep.

**Watch Your Diet:** Try to avoid heavy meals, caffeine, and alcohol close to bedtime. These can disrupt your sleep patterns.

**Create a Comfortable Sleep Environment:** Ensure your bedroom is dark, quiet, and at a comfortable temperature. Invest in a comfortable mattress and pillows.

**Consult a Professional:** If the issue persists, consider consulting a healthcare professional or sleep specialist for personalized advice and potential solutions.

I hope one or more of these suggestions helps you get the quality sleep you need! 😴💤
