I always chill on the couch before bed and it will start logging my sleep then and deduct my score when I get up and brush my teeth and walk upstairs.
It only takes a few seconds and I feel like it more accurately reflects my sleep score.

Hi @alyass and welcome to the Community. The main signal to say you are asleep is that your wrist isn’t moving. You have a pre-bedtime routine that is a perfect setup to think you are asleep when you aren’t. It doesn’t surprise me that you need to edit your sleep record daily.
I adjust mine when the start time is off for something like this, but I don’t need to do it daily.
