Since I have a disturbed sleep initially, the initial portion of my sleep does not show up.
For e.g. if I sleep from 12 am to 8 am , after syncing, the sleep app only shows sleep between 3 am and 8 am.
The workaround is to go and edit the start time from 3 am to 12 am.
Fitbit used to get whatever irregular sleep I got between12 am and 3 am and merge it to my sleep between 3 am and 8 am.
I would use this information to get a good idea on my night sleep.
The last day this worked was Mon Oct 6.
From Tue Oct 7 it stopped working,
Obviously this was caused due to a software change and the software breakage should be fixed and the earlier functionality restored.

I’m having similar problems. I shared my details with Fitbit Support on X and suggested it was likely due to a software update as others have been reporting similar sleep tracking issues but it was treated as an individual issue related to my phone storage. I’m hoping that someone will look into this the current tracking is somewhat useless as a result of the inability to do edits.

I've seen the same problem the past couple of weeks. Last night in particular was bad enough for me to come looking to see if it was just me. I slept HARD from roughly 11:30 to 2:30 before my dog barking woke me up. Got him settled & was back in bed asleep before 2:50. The ONLY sleep my tracker shows is from 2:50 to 6am when my alarm went off. That's 3 hours missing that I KNOW I was asleep, and sleeping hard nonetheless. I have it set to track sleep from 9pm to 7am and in the past, it not only did that but would also pick up naps if I took one during the day. A few weeks ago, I noticed the naps weren't showing up any more and now it's not even tracking my sleep at night like it should.
I have sleep issues & being able to track my sleep was the main reason I got a Fitbit so this is extremely upsetting.

I chatted with fitbit support again and provided them a link to the issue in community fitbit.
They have opened a case for the higher team - the case number is 1-8464000039514.
Now need to wait for the higher team updates regarding the issue.
