I have the WORST sleep pattern

Good Morning everyone,

 

I just bought my FitBit ChargeHR. I tracked my sleep last night and my jaw dropped when I saw my sleep pattern this morning. Out of the 6.5 hours that I slept. My 'time asleep,' was 2 hr 48 min. My 'awake/restless,' time was 3 hr 34 min. This helped me answer a lot of questions like why I am always tired. I have tracked my sleep before using sleepbot and other sleep tracking apps which all had similar results. I was skeptical because they were apps that I used. Now that I have the same result with the FitBit, I am not how to have better sleep. Buy a new mattress? Move to a different apartment? workout harder?

 

Any ideas?

I recommend you see you GP and ask to be referred to a sleep clinic as it reads you might not be getting enough quality sleep - look up sleep apnoea and see how you fit with the description.  Also Epworth Score.

I'd be curious about the temperature.

 

I worked two years of nights as a nurse and my primary job was making sure people slept. 95% of the time people had trouble sleeping because it was too hot; either because Summer is an awful awful thing or because they had the heater blazing/slash way too many blankets on. You should be comfortable yes but not par boiled.
