Hi everyone! Starting today, you may notice a new sleep experience in your Fitbit app. If you don't have it right away, please be patient as it can take some time to reach all users.
Check out what’s new by going to the Fitbit Community blog.
What do you think? Let us know!

@RebeccaFitbit Can fitbit actually reply to the issues here please. There are literally thousands of people telling you they don't like the new sleep tracker display and want the old one back. It's not just this thread there are multiple threads all over the forum in every type of watch/tracker. People hate it.
Fitbit promised to review if enough people complained. I'd say that 'thousands' is enough.
Can we get some specific feedback about what is going to be done about this. It's clear that the majority hate it and want the simpler, easier to read and compare format back

I'm only still with fitbit as I haven't found another watch that I like in my price range!

Over 1,500 replies and no response.
I keep getting ads for Fitbit.
If the sleep app remains the same, instead of reverenting to the former style, I won't be buying another from this brand.

That's nothing more than a silly title/rank to the forums. Jogger is at the bottom of the ranking system. The more active you are here, the higher your rank will be.
Community ranks are designed as a lighthearted way to encourage engagement and offer other members a little extra insight into your participation here. They are not linked to any individual preference or setting, and it's not possible to opt-out.

For me, this upgrade is a total failure. It is so inaccurate And I can no longer edit the window of time that I was actually sleeping. I use the Fitbit primarily to track my sleep so this is really disappointing.

I posted my feedback about a month ago and, since I posted it, I now receive emails with everyone else’s’ feedback: it seems unanimous that no one likes the upgrade and a change needs to be made for the better. That said, I canceled my premium subscription bc it appears FitBit is not addressing the masses. As many have said, how many is enough to make a change? Seems like thousands is enough but evidently not yet. So, I will not longer be using my Fitbit after my subscription ends at the end of the month.

Not useable, it makes me so angry looking at it, I just don’t.

I agree. I liked the old version much better

In several other forums I am in, literally thousands of Fitbit owners believe the new sleep app look to be horrendous, horrible. Most have begun to switch to Oura, Garmin, or Apple Watch. I too believe the new sleep app to be a horrible setback, rendering it useless to me.

@RebeccaFitbit It's been over 2 months now. Can we please get an official statement from Google for the future state of sleep tracking? Is this going to be addressed or should we look at a competitor's fitness tracking? Without Fitbit Challenges, there's hardly any reason to stay with Fitbit. The destruction of sleep tracking only makes things worse.

Hate it. The old sleep graph was so much better and easier to understand.
Such a shame. I have loved the Fitbit sleep graph for over 5 years.
I am now looking at other smart watches due to the sleep log change.

Not only in THIS forum, but in multiple OTHER forums, thousands of angry Fitbit owners are asking (demanding) the return of a working sleep app. Those same 1000s of users fully believe the sleep app could not be any worse, most horrible thing Fitbit has done. Many have already left Fitbit, some just throwing away their watch in disgust of the treatment and lack of respect. Oura, Garmin, and Apple Watch are benefitting from this mistake as these 1000s leave Fitbit, either now or in a short while after they finally choose another device (NON-Fitbit)

Well, I have been with Fitbit since December of 2015 and have had a total of 6 devices over the years. And have been through several problems with these products over the years. Some may remember the bubbling bands, I had that on a couple of the early Charge trackers. Then the disappearing display on a later version. The display would just slowly dissappear over several days. Then a screen which for no reason developed a small crack in the screen. Some were replaced with warranty, some they offered me 50% of another device and some I just bought on my own. Anyway, those problems didn't cause me to leave Fitbit and I won't leave because I'm just not happy with the sleep display. But my biggest complaint is now this: With the old sleep display you could maybe fall asleep at 9:30pm and wake up at 11:30pm and then fall asleep again at 1am until 6am and the display would show 7hr sleep. NOT ANY MORE, it tends to break them up and list one or more as "Other Sleep". Totally confusing and YOU have to gather the sleep pieces and add them up to see how much sleep you actually got.

Hi. Still no feedback from Fitbit.
I am now looking to purchase another product with a good sleep tracker.
Does anyone have a suggestion?
Thank you.

The new app design is hard to read and does not give great sleep data! Please redesign a similar to the old version!
