Hi everyone! Starting today, you may notice a new sleep experience in your Fitbit app. If you don't have it right away, please be patient as it can take some time to reach all users.
Check out what’s new by going to the Fitbit Community blog.
What do you think? Let us know!

I am getting rid of Fit Bit- you do not care what we think about new sleep tracking- that is evident. Just ordered new tracker today.

The original version is appropriate for sleep patterns, this downgrade is more appropriate for either a DNA matching screen or a fill in the circle for your answer test. Google is going to kill a great product. My husband already bought a new brand after 10 years with Fitbit. I'm researching still, will see how his is, and post on that later.

Hello Fitbit Moderator, this is a simple YES or NO question. Will the Fitbit app's sleep section be switched back to its former version? If Fitbit is not going to do so, I will be cancelling your premium service on May 15. At which point, I'll be looking for an alternative HR monitor/tracker. Good day to you.

I love this post! YES or NO? is a plain and simple question to which we deserve an answer!

This upgrade has lost readability and functionality.
The new graph is not very readable with the subtitles in the middle (!!!). What's the point of comparing my sleep pattern with people like me who also have sleep problems (benchmark)? The 30 day average graph should show the average numerically and not repeat the benchmark information. The O2 concentration graph doesn't show the range and you can't tell what time it happened.
Very disappointed.

Well I will be leaving fitbit as soon as I can decide which other smart watch I'm going to get! The worst thing, as others have said, is the fact that even after over a 1000 people have said they hate it, there is still no reply to us from fitbit. It just shows they actually don't give a💩about us, the people who have spent their money on fitbit!

To clarify, they most certainly CAN revert the previous iteration, it is their policy NOT to. These are different things and making the claim that it is not possible to go back is false. This change is deliberate and part of a move to align all products with Google's own. Even if Google were to redesign its own products now (which if anyone working their had half a brain it would, after all this free customer feedback data it has received - people liked the Fitbit designed features of its app - do you get it??) I would not buy them. You seem to be under the impression that by removing what customers wanted, without warning or reason, and then discontinuing their product, you will be able to get this customer base to buy your crummy trackers. How stupid do you think we are?? We hate your designs, your products and your customer service. You may have bought Fitbit, but you do not get to buy us.

My husband gave me an Apple watch for my birthday last week and I've cancelled Fitbit premium membership. This was all because the one thing I like about Fitbit, namely the sleep tracking, is now for me unusable. I also don't want to have to be tethered to Google. Very disappointed.

Things are clearer in the morning.
This entire move by Google was to test market software for Pixel watch. They have a free test group, all of us.
They do what they do, and watch our reactions.

They. Don't. Care. I've been following this thread for a few days and it's too uncomfortable to constantly be reminded of FitBit's disregard for their customers so I gotta mute this thread and friggin' move on.
