Some nights it doesn't track sleep stages

Some nights my Inspire 2 tracks sleep stages (Light, Deep, REM, Awake) nicely, and other nights it doesn't, and will only show Awake/Asleep. Any idea why this is?

@TommyTime113 Is your heart rate being detected consistently and are the green lights on the back of your Fitbit on? Your Fitbit needs to be able to read your heart rate to determine sleep stages. Also, you need to let your Fitbit detect your sleep automatically. Don't start and end sleep in the Fitbit app.

A feature of the Inspire 2 is that it can be worn on your wrist or on a clip. Sometimes, when people aren't getting detailed sleep metrics, it is because the device is in Clip mode. When it is set for the clip, the heart rate detection is turned off and you also don't get sleep metrics. To check this setting, press and hold both side buttons on the Inspire 2, you'll get a list of settings. Swipe up until you get to the last one. It should say "On Wrist", if you want see your heart rate. If it says "On Clip", tap on that and change it to "On Wrist".
