Just a note to possibly help someone else. I am on my third model of FitBit. None of them ever tracked my sleep automatically, and I would have to enter it manually every morning. Recently I was evaluated for sleep apnea and the doctor put me on a CPAP machine. The very first night on the machine, FitBit accurately tracked my sleep automatically, and has done so ever since. And, my sleep scores are much higher now than they used to be when I entered sleep times manually.
It seems FitBit was trying to tell me something!
