I've tried normal and sensitive. It still doesn't put anything up about sleep quality.

Hello, have you ever consider plant based supplements? I remember I had a similar problem and what worked for me was this plant called Valerian. A friend recommended it to me and I bought it right away. Ask about it at a local naturist store. If you decide to try it, I would suggest you get Valerian pills instead of Valerian tea because with pills it's easier to get just the right amount of the active ingredients. Brewing it at home can make it too strong and then it'll have the opposite effect.

Check out bi-modal sleeping and stop beating yourself up! Two, separate sleeps is perfectly natural - roll with your body on this one and STOP the drugs.

Valarien works well along with skullcap but the burps resulting are awful

I would advise you stop using Xanax (at least the extended release formulation) if you're having trouble getting quality sleep. Not all sleep is created equal, and benzodiazepines interfere with our ability to get restful sleep.

Would suggest dropping the nap to preserve sleep drive or limit to 30min max

Good morning Nubby86
Can you repost to the new date your story? I just went to a homeopathic doctor for testing of my thyroid, food issues, etc.
She also saw i had the fitbit on. I took it off so she could test me. She then tested my adrenal gland with it off. My adrenal gland
was nice and calm. So, she then put it back on my wrist, waited a minute or 2 and then rechecked. I would never have believed
this if i hadn't seen it. It skyrocketed. My adrenal gland was in stress mode. So it hasn't been on since 4 days ago. Needless to say,
i've been sleeping like a baby. no more tossing and turning and waking up between 3:30a.m. and 5a.m. every hour. I've sent a notice to Fitbit support as they don't truly believe and your post i saw. Thank you. It is so nice not waking up in the middle of the morning.
Can you please repost to current date? Make more people aware? Since i've posted, they've wanted to know the name of the test. I have to get that. I don't remember what it was.
Thank you
Sapphire50

Not sure if this is directly related or I should start a new conversation. I had Inspire 4 set on sensitive, but I am positive, as I have been tracking it, it was not "registering my sleep start time until at least 1 hour after I am asleep. I will switch it to "Normal" to see if it improves. Any input on how it is calculated would be great. Thanks

@Vanille I prefer to use "Normal" since I move a lot during night. This has been working for me, I've improve my sleep by going to bed earlier some days of the week.

It did not change the reading accuracy. I can't find any correlation. When I am ready to sleep, I texted myself. The time is consistently about 1+ hours off.

I am in the process of checking that. I have gone back and forth. I just moved it to Sensitive and will track the accuracy for a week.

I would certainly opt for Normal in the beginning. If you really feel the outcome are not exact you change the setting accordingly. Also take notice of the Leading vs. Non-dominant hand setting it does make a difference.

@johnlsummey04 you're right! It really helps to carefully read how this option works: What's the difference between the normal and sensitive sleep setting? 😊

I would choose Normal at first. If you feel the result are not accurate you change the setting accordingly.

@Jipster66 and @AnnaMccoy 🙂👍 I totally agree with you. It's best to check your sleep stats when using normal options first and them move on to sensitive if need it.
