Why is there less info????

You've changed the app in a negative way, it's showing me less information than I was able to see prior to this horrible upgrade. For example when clicking on the sleep line for any given day, I used to be able to see the details of not just how many hours or minutes I slept but when I was awakened in the night, that was very helpful and meaningful. Why did you take that away?? Apparently nobody is thinking when they make these updates, you just remove functionality instead of adding to it. Why don't you put things back, or listen to feedback and make things better when people give you suggestions? It's almost like you feel like you know better than customers who actually use your product and pay you money.

I agree the new app is a downgrade why did they change what was good. This will be my last Fitbit if the company doesn’t change the app now I don’t get my workouts as it showed have to go to heart rate how counter intuitive. I no longer get detailed sleep data just the simplified no real data results. Why did they change something that was good already?

I had the same problem, but i found out what happened. They still show sleep details, but you have to check the settings.
go to your settings on your fitbit. In settings find heart rate, and be sure it is switched to on. Mine was off, but i did not realize it because my heart rate was being shown on my fitbit. This may not be your issue, but i thought i would share what solved it for me.

I agree. Even the sleep has less data and you can't see the time breakdowns like before. If it stays like this I will not buy another fitbit, nor anyone else in my family. We have been buying fitbits for years. We have loved the Fitbit Charge line the most. I just bought another Fitbit Charge 4 and thought maybe it was something wrong with the NEW Fitbit Charge 4. Then I decided to come here to ask and see that it was my second thought, the last update. I feel like I just paid a lot of money for nothing. Maybe it is time to look elsewhere.

Hello @ReneeLackie

To see the time breakdowns on the sleep graph, put your finger on the graph. The text above the graph will show the sleep stage with start & end times. If you're an Android user, you can slide your finger across the graph to see the start & end times as well as the sleep stage. If you're an iOS user, you need to move your finger up or down to the specific sleep stage to see the start & end times.

Please let us know if there is any other sleep data that you would like help in finding.

Thanks @RiekoC for the tip.
It is only one year later after this change was implemented that I know that I can put my finger on the graph. Fitbit is certainly not very good at communicating these changes, especially since it is a major change. I still prefer the old interface. Anyway this is better than nothing. I like to request if we can use our fingers to expand the graph so that we can see with greater granularity the different stages.
Thanks.

Hello @PLY

The ability to zoom in on the sleep graph is a great idea. Please submit this as a feature request in the Product Feedback forum (<-- click link). I understand that the developers monitor this forum to see what features are being requested for potential future implementation.

If you do submit the feature request, please consider replying to this thread with a link to the request so that other users can add their vote & comments.
