Hi @Yemosticaliciou! Please receive a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community! Thanks a lot @WendyB for the help. Heart

I think that you can find useful this idea: Reminders to Move for Surge and Charge HR. Or you can create your own suggestion. I already voted for that one. The more votes and comments an idea has the more visibility and momentum it gains. Cat Tongue

Implementing enhancements to Fitbit trackers and services take time. It takes time as our devs and engineers have to be double sure that this will properly work. Lots of trial an error on their end to make sure they deliver the best improvements for our wonderful customers! Smiley Wink

Is the hourly reminder feature being inbuilt in Surge. I recently bought it but realised that the hourly reminder feature is not there. I strongly believe that it is a must

It's not included. Fighting for an update. It's one of the highest price
and deserve to have the hourly reminder if you ask me.

Hey there, @GauravJain and @Yemosticaliciou! Welcome to the Family! Heart

As @Yemosticaliciou mentioned this feature is not included in the Fitbit Surge, that's why we recommended to vote for this idea: Reminders to Move for Surge and Charge HR. Since as you, there is a lot of people requesting this option.

I appreciate your comments and thanks again for being part of the Community!

I have been using the surge since last 1 week only to find that
- It does not give reminder for sleep as per set schedule
- It is not compatible with my Samsung S8 plus so far as sending notification is concerned.
- It does not give reminder to relax as in case of Charge 2
I got motivated to buy the best considering it shall have most of the functionalities that are there in charge 2. But disappointed after owning it. I believe charge 2 is a better buy for a new user.

With the band issues and lack of functionality built into other less expensive FitBits I would agree there are better values in FitBits.

I've thought about a Blaze.  My wife and daughter both have Charge 2s.  I got the Surge for the built in GPS but its design has serious issues.

Hi @GauravJain and @Sparky617 Thanks for your participation on the Forums! Smiley Happy

@Sparky617 Feedback in regards our different models of trackers are always welcome, if you need further assistance with your band I can request to our Team to check your warranty options.

@GauravJain I really appreciate your feedback. I'd like to clarify some information about the features that you mentioned, because if you purchase your tracker through Fitbit.com you might use the Fitbit.com 45 Day Satisfaction Guaranteed Return Policy. This is in case you are thinking in using a different model.

The Fitbit App has the option to use reminders to sleep to get the notification in your phone, so it can be use in that way with your Surge. Now, Fitbit Charge 2 will receive the same sleep reminder on the display of the tracker, but the relax sessions reminders is not an option that Fitbit offers. In regards of the model of your phone, all trackers are only compatible with the devices listed on the website.

If you have any other doubts please let me know so I can help you to decide which tracker is the best option for you!

Unfortunately have not bought the surge from fitbit.com and hence not sure if I can avail the 45 days replacement guarantee. Bought it from Amazon India.
Let me know if there is any way I can replace it with a Charge 2 and claim the difference. Got motivated to buy fitbit only after I got to know the features of charge 2 from one of my fellow colleague. Even the sleep analysis is awesome in it compared to the surge. The battery in surge drains in 2 days.
Thought the surge shall have better features including the ones in charge 2. Hence also enlighten me as to who are the ones who opt for surge.

Thanks & RegardsCA Gaurav J

I would really love the the surge to have hourly reminder to move. Thought that having one of the most expensive models would automatically have this feature.

Nice to see that you're digging into the Forums @Boreilly, let me give you a warm welcome to our Community. Smiley Happy

Thanks for sharing your comment here with us! Even though I understand where you coming from, I'd like to add that the reminders to move feature is available on all devices except Fitbit Charge, Fitbit Charge HR, Fitbit Flex, Fitbit One, Fitbit Surge, and Fitbit Zip; since these are basically the fist line of trackers that Fitbit came out and with the time new technology was added to our products. Our newest device including Fitbit Ionic which also has integrated GPS can offer you this feature.

You can learn more about Fitbit Ionic at https://www.fitbit.com/ionic, and the rest of the Fitbit family of products at https://www.fitbit.com/compare.

Let me know if you have questions about it.
