I have had a Surge for a total of 1.5 years. Not the same one. Three different Surges. This is 6 months into my THIRD Surge:
I am officially done. When this falls off my wrist I am starting the search for a new fitness band. I tried. I gave it a chance. I really wanted to like this product (I do like this product!!!) but its clear from the many defective Surge posts that Fitbit does not want to improve on this device. My first watch was working for all of 2 weeks when the screen froze. This was replaced quickly and everything was going well for almost a year until one of the physical buttons stopped working. This watch, in Fitbit's defense was also replaced free of charge. Now my third Surge is falling apart and I know from the posts in this forum that this is neither uncommon or fixable. I called and received the 25% discount coupon discussion. Something I am unwilling to do. I understand this is a business and money needs to be made but the lack of hardware engineering is embarrassing. Again, I love the software, the GPS, the community but I cant keep investing money in something that is a clear issue and not of concern to the same people that say they want their customers to be happy. This is a clear contradiction to the many people that are fed up with the repeated physical defective issues we are seeing as the norm more than the exception.

It's great to see you around @jszatala. As you can see in our warranty policy, Fitbit trackers have a warranty of 1 year and that's why you received a 25% discount. Keep in mind that you can use that discount to purchase any of our trackers. I recommend checking this page, where you will be able to find another Fitbit that better apply for you.
Catch you later.
