I have not posted food for a previous day. If I select that day at the top, that day's data is displayed. However, when I attempt to add food it always posts to today. I researched prior questions. The last post was in Oct of 14. Solution did not work for myself and another user.

@TheGope,

Welcome to the community!

I'm not sure if you can do it from the Fitbit App, but I believe that you can from the website.  Just do this:

  1. Go to your food log.
  2. Go back to the day in question.
  3. Enter your food.

Hint:  You can go food log page from your iPad or iPhone, so it's not as if you can't do it from your device, just not necessarily the Fitbit App.

I hope this helps.

Hi Got it done thanks. It was a bit more complex because I using the quick calorie option which I could not find on the web version. So I posted any food on the past days, went to the IOS version, added the quick calories and deleted the foot I posted earlier. I think FitBit needs a bit or programming coordination between the versions. Steve Goppert Have a great day! 🙂

If a previous day has no postings, you cannot add to that day in the IOS version. Steve Goppert Have a great day! 🙂

Sorry I goofed.  Your solution didn't work for me. Had to go to the web version.  This is the solution that works/

Hello there guys! For those who are still having issues with logging your food, I recommend making sure you're running the latest app version. If you can force quit your app, that would be great.

Good luck!
