Any way to check battery level on the device?

Didnt see this in a search, but my dash always shows a full battery level even though the surge goes dead. I have notifications set but never receive any on this. It lasts about 48 hours then just goes blank. I can recharge it but the lightning bolt next to the battery never goes out. To be safe I let it charge 6 hours, but still went dead without warning after 2 days. I don't mind charging it when its low, but the device does not seem to have a way for me to check the battery level. When its dead, my dash still shows a full battery.

Any ideas? or did I miss something obvious?

Also See this thread for charging best practices. If you are not charging it correctly you could be damaging the battery

But no there is no way to check the battery level on the device unless you plug it in to charge or the web or the app. But those dont seem to be working for you. Dont know if the above will help but its worth a try

Ok, will try that today.

OK, did the restart and cleaned the contacts, the battery level is now showing on the dash, looks correct.

As a bonus, I found that pressing the home button to turn on the "run" setting shows the battery level at the top of the screen.

Actually if you press the button once and go to settings its there as well. I didn't have my surge on at the time. Sorry about that! Now there are 2 ways Smiley Very Happy
