I bought the Fitbit Surge Feb, 2016 I loved it! Battery lasted about 2-4 days (had all features on). I upgraded my phone to the S8+ and paired it with my Surge. The notifications would not work on my watch. I called fitbit and they said there was a bug and it was being fixed. Okay, i can live with that. About 5 days later the notifications started working and it was great. The next night I took my watch off (11pm) and charged it and once it was full (about midnight) I put it back on and went to sleep(love the sleep tracking). Around 11 am I got a notification my battery was low. I charged it put it back on and about 6 hours later another low battery notification. I call fitbit and My warranty expired Feb 2017, but since this was a device issue they would send me a replacement. Super awesome. I got my replacement and charged it for the recommended 2 hours. I paired it (still no notifications) and it was good. Well 10 hours later and battery was low. I charged it again thinking maybe it wasn't plugged up right. I recharged it and 6 hours later same thing. I call fitbit and they send me another replacement. Well! SAME THING IS HAPPENING! I am not getting notifications and battery is not lasting. I call fitbit and I'm told that it's because I have the GPS on. Now it's a list of things they are trying to blame me for. I spoke a supervisor and she said it was " bad luck " I asked to speak to someone over her and she said there isn't one I have to wait for an email. $250 for watch that don't even make it 2 years is absurd.

I’ve been going back and forth with customer service due to the fact that I’m also having poor Battery performance, use to last 6-7 days, now only lasting about 2, I originally asked about a battery replacement, but they informed me that the battery is not replaceable, pretty expensive for a disposable watch also having an issue with the wristband, cracking at the corners near the screws.
