Greetings. When utilizing my Surge on Bike rides the GPS accurately represents my path on the map overlay however, the distance registers as ~1.5 miles on a ride that I generally go 12-16 miles.

Why is it occurring and how can I get my Fitbit to register the actual mileage.

Biking is not step based so it will not be accurate.

 

Some people put it in the bike shorts for better step counts but again it will not be accurate
