Battery charging notification

Im new to fitbit, got my surge recently and noticed that when you connect it to charge, it never tells you when the battery is full, it keeps on charging forever if you let it. Has anyone else noticed it or am I the only one with this issue?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Blackslash. It's great to have you here. The Fitbit Surge shows an empty battery level that fills up while is getting charged. It shows black when it's fully charged and it sends you a notification advising your Surge is ready to go.

If you are not receiving the notification please perform a restart to your tracker. Additionally, you can set up your tracker as a replacement device. Let me know how it goes.

Im not talking about recieving a notification on my phone. Its about the notification on the surge. When a device fully charges it gives some sort of an indication to the user letting them know that its full. The problem is surge doesnt do that. I dont keep it connected to my phone 24x7, i just connect it only when i need to synchronise. After reading through realised that the surge lacks this feature, which is quite a shame.

@Blackslash Thanks for clarifying your question. Like you mentioned the Surge actually doesn't indicate by itself when it is fully charged. This would be a great suggestion to place in the Feature Request board. Once any update is available it will be communicated as soon as possible.
