I've had this issue before, which turned out to be the Quick View option turning the backlight on whenever you moved your wrist. The surge has been fault free for months since then. Quick View this has been turned off ever since that, yet my battery has returned to flattening in about 24 hours.
Backlight is set to Auto. Heartrate - Auto. Haven't used GPS. Isn't connected via Bluetooth at all unless I choose to sync (I never use call/text notifications or music control). No alarms set. Quick view set to off.
It can be fully charged when I go to bed around 10.30PM, I can wear it whilst asleep and it will be approximately 50% when I wake up at 6AM. I'll go to work, take it off and leave it in my locker at 7AM, by 5.30PM the empty battery is showing, despite having not been worn for 10.5 hours. I've checked the battery maximising tips and with these settings it should be lasting 5-7 days.
This is a replacement Surge too, my original one fell apart and I got sent this straight off. Not very confidence inspiring of a £200 product that I may need a 3rd within a year!
Anybody else having this issue?

I have not had that happen, but I would try a re-boot. Restarting Your Tracker

I had to do a hard reset when I posted this thread, seems to be holding up OK, for now!
