Broken Wristband

Hello fitbit,

My wristband is coming off of my fitbit surge.

The fitbit is only just 8/9 months old.

You offered me a discount on the newest fitbit but you will understand that i’m not going to pay for a new fitbit. I still have warranty left.

The other offer was a tangerine fitbit small, but i hope you understand that i want to have a normal color ( black ).

Would love to hear what a normal and proper solution is going to be from fitbit.

Refund in money maybe..

Waiting for your reply.

Hi, @M.Vogel, you can't get directly in touch with Fitbit via these forums, as it is basically a user to user help group.  I guess because the Surge is discontinued they don't have much stock left and that is why they are not able to offer you black.

I would suggest carrying on your conversation directly with Fitbit Customer Support amd hopefully you will come to a mutually acceptable solution.

I really loved my Surge, especially for running and hiking, but if you do end up upgrading to the new Ionic I can also really recommend it.

Good luck!

Exactly the same problem.  6 - 9 months.  Strap has just come straight off.  Is there somewhere I can send it to be fixed?

@MistaPutz, you can get in touch with Fitbit Customer Support on contact.fitbit.com and see what options they are able to offer you  (but it sounds like stock of replacement Surge is low).

Besides whatever arrangements you make with Fitbit, although there are no repair centres, there are lots of videos online giving instructions for DIY repairs for broken Surge bands.
