Broken surge strap out of warranty and disappointed about response

As my topic reads, I am very disappointed about my options after having my first Fitbit product for 15 months. The only option provided when I called support was that I could save 25% off another one..... That is not an option I will take. Thank you. My only other option will be to purchase an Apple or Samsung or similar product and hope I fare better than with Fitbit and its poor product quality and lack of customer service. Wow. Disappointed.

except I activated min mid Jan 2015 and it broke last week so I made it 25 months 

same 25% offer

I wont be taking it.

I lived just fine before FitBit. I will Live after as well.

 

I pulled a cheap plain pedometer out of storage instead

First of all, I'm not affiliated with Fitbit, don't have shares.

I'm all in for having different products and different brands... I don't believe it's really 100% fair to keep selling a product with proved to have some design flaws, yet Fitbit makes other products which are really viable. Personally, having switched from Fitbit to others, I usually find myself back with them.

Nobody is forced to get another Surge, maybe another product could also benefit from that 25% discount. The Fitbit app is really much better than any other around.
