Well I was on my second surge, defect strap as per usual and fitbit happy to replace with more defect fodder but unwilling to refund money or exchange for a brand new blaze. Now talk about frustrating, their product fails again, I offer to downgrade to a blaze to elimate the strap issue and they straight away decline so we spend a whole week and a half arguing the toss about replacement surge's , 50% discount which In my opinion is a con anyway and free premium membership none of which i want . Don't talk to these people on e- mail , this is what happens. I phoned the fitbit UK helpline number, spoke to a human and within 4 working days a blaze has been delivered free of charge . Why we had to waste all this time and effort on something so simple and that should have been honoured immediately I have no idea. And I must say even now I have a new blaze it has left a really bad taste in my mouth. I will happily use this until the warranty expires which apparently began the the first day I brought the first surge, legalities of this will be checked obviously . When this dies I will definitely have to rethink when it comes to buying it's replacement and who I want to it buy it with. You shouldn't have to threaten anyone with anything just to get what you entitled to anyway, if your under warranty and happy with a surge get one, it's your right but if arn't happy keep complaining and go get it. They will tell you company policy won't allow a model swop, this is total garbage. They just did it for me. Don't let them fob you off because they will if you let them.

Thank you for the thorough feedback for the Fitbit environment, customer service and devices. This has not gone unnoticed and be sure that I will pass this along. Each scenario is different but our Support Team manage must of the cases depending on the Fitbit warranty. Good to know that you got back on track.
