Bubbling in band of surge

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I had a surge before this current one that I have and it started bubbling and I contacted Fitbit and they sent me an new one and now this one this morning I noticed that the new one has started bubbling too! Ugh. I ALWAYS  take it off when its near water and am always very careful with it! What should I do now?

It depends on when you got your original Surge. The replacement Surge will be covered by warranty for 12 months from the purchase date of the original Surge (or 24 months if you are in Europe).

If you are still covered then contact fitbit as you did before.

If you are no longer covered by warranty then fitbit will probably not be able to replace it again but it may still be worth contacting them as they often offer a discount towards a new purchase. If this is the situation you may be able to consider upgrading to an Ionic.

I am in a similar position. My first surge was replaced because the strap snapped off from the watch face. Now the strap is coming away from the watch face.  I have emailed Fitbit this evening and I am awaiting a reply.

My surge has bubbles on one side and it is open on the other, i wish I could upload a picture of it, it's a pity for a fully working device to look that cheap and ugly and feel  ready to break.....

I'm in Greece and activity trackers market is just opening.

Imagine people asking about the Surge, being impressed by its functions but stay away because of its look.

Not so fast, friend. I went thru this process with my wristband bubbling and literally falling apart and received the replacement Surge. Started wearing it only to notice the beginning of the end, again.

Though the Fitbit itself seems to be working fine, the accessory on this one and my wife's Charge2 fall apart rather quickly. SHAME.
